Think you know what Scouting is all about? Think again. Now is the time to view Scouting through a whole new lens and get a fresh look at the life-changing experiences the organization offers.
Scouting is not only about campfires and merit badges. Scouting provides the opportunity to participate in adventures, build character, understand responsibility and much, much more. Plus, it is FUN!
To show you how much fun, the units of the Constellation District are holding a Family Adventure Day in Broomall's Veterans Park on Sunday, September 21 from 1-4pm. The event is Free and open to all.
Can you navigate with a compass? Tie a knot? Start a fire without a match? Walk across a rope bridge? Each of our units will have a unique, hands-on activity that will challenge you to work as a team, teach you something new, or give you an adventure that you won't find on an electronic screen.
To round things out, we'll have emergency vehicles, games and even a mobile Scout Shop for you too!
As parents, you can learn how Scouting makes the most of the fleeting time your kids have to be kids, and how Scouting helps your whole family grow closer. Our volunteers will be available to help you find a Scouting unit close to you where you can Build your Adventure.
