Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS)

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) is an essential part of basic training for leaders in Boy Scout troops.  This training is required for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters in every troop.  It teaches the basic outdoor skills that boys will learn from Tenderfoot through First Class, which adults must also know.  IOLS is also recommended for committee members who participate in outdoor activities, especially camping trips, with their troop.
