Resica Falls Overview
Situated in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, Resica Falls Scout Reservation is a 4200+ acre Scouting Paradise.  Set in what seems like an endless track of mountain trails, clear streams, and waterfalls is an amazing program of activities for Scouts to enjoy for their summer camp experience.  

Founded in 1957 by a joint effort between the Valley Forge and Philadelphia Councils to create a huge parcel of land for scouts to use for generations to come.  Although the Valley Forge Council would become the sole propreitior of the property in 1965, these same two councils would merge in 1996 creating the Cradle of Liberty Council where Scouts from Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties would once again find themselves stewards of this wilderness treasure.  The Council would later enter into a land trust agreement preserving the property forever as an undeveloped forest for Scouting use.  In 2007, Resica Falls celebrated its 50th summer season of scout camping.  Since its founding, tens of thousands of Scouts have enjoyed an experience among the hidden natural treasures creating memories that will last a lifetime.

The camp capacity is 400 participants each week in our Dining Hall operation.  The camp boasts a brand new pool and shower house facility built in 2006 with a three-story water slide.  Additional recent improvements have included the construction of a new Health Lodge (Bear Lodge - 2002), a new boat house at the lake (2004), new office facilities (Unami Lodge - 2006), and a new Trading Post (2007).

FIRESTONE LODGE — $300.
Kitchen, electric, gas, central heat, fireplace, bathroom
Capacity: 32 people

RESICA UNAMI LODGE
(NEW CABIN) — $300.
Kitchen, refrigerator, 2 bathrooms w/showers, heat, fireplace, bunks w/mattresses
Capacity: 30 people

BEAR LODGE — $275.
Kitchen, gas range, refrigerator, water, fireplace, 24 bunks (6 people to a bedroom) and two bathrooms w/showers.
Capacity: 24 people (male/female)

NUNEVILLE LODGE — $100.
Electric, gas stove, refrigerator, water near by, wood stove, propane heat, outside toilet. note: 2 separate cabins combined
Capacity: 20 people (male/female)
TROOPER LODGE — $100.
Electric, gas stove, refrigerator, wood stove, outside toilet, cots.
Capacity: 20 people (male/female)

COX LODGE — $100.
Electric, gas stove, refrigerator, water near by, wood stove, outside toilet.
Capacity: 14 people

BROOKS LODGE — $75.
Electric, gas stove, refrigerator, water near by, wood stove, outside toilet.
Capacity: 14 people

GROUND SITES — $50.
Outside toilet and water near by.
Capacity: 25-30 people in your tents

ENCLOSED PAVILION — $50.
Outside toilet and water near by.

OUT OF COUNCIL FEE — $25
Non Cradle of Liberty Council units pays this additional courtesy fee. Cabin rentals only.
