Overview
Treasure Island is the oldest operating Boy Scout resident camp in America having been established in 1913.  As part of its summer camp program in 1915, the Order of the Arrow was founded to recognize outstanding scouts in their units attending camp. Steeped in history and tradition, Treasure Island offers a complete program for Scouts and their Troops on an island in the middle of the river - the only island Scout camp in the United States.

Located just a few miles above New Hope on the picturesque Delaware River lies the ideal setting for Scouting at its finest.  Nestled in the valley and surrounded by the rolling hills of Pennsylvania and New Jersey is a two island complex that makes up Treasure Island Scout Reservation.  The main island, Treasure Island, is a 55 acre paradise for your unit to enjoy and houses most of the camp including the campsites and main structures.  The second island, Marshall Island is a 150 acre island that is holds some of the program areas such as rifle, archey, COPE, and outpost camping.  This island has more of wilderness feel and was once home to Eagle Island Camp.

The camp has a capacity of 320 campers each week and hearty, well-balanced, delicious meals are served in the camp dining hall daily. Boys live in two-man tents with wooden platform flooring and canvas cots. Recently ravaged by two floods in the years 2005 and 2006, Treasure Island has been restored to its beauty having undergone a massive rebuilding effort.  In many ways the Island has never been in better shape with all of its infrastructure, (electrical, plumbing, sewage) being completely renovated.  Every roof is new, and every structure re-painted with many facilities such as the campmaster cabin and health lodge being completely remodeled.  A permanent plan is in place of relocating the summer camp to Camp Delmont with minimal program interupption in the unlikely event of a flood during summer operation.
