Venturing is BSA's fastest-growing program, for male and female youth 14-years old and finished with eighth grade on up through 20 years old. Venturers meet in Crews (or Ships) in their communities. Once each month, Venturers from around the Council meet as a "VOA" - or Venturing Officers Association. (But you don't need to be an officer of your Crew or Ship to attend the VOA.)
Scouting promotes character, leadership, and self-growth. There are many awards and scholarships that are available to Boy Scouts, Venturers and Explorers.
Camp Staff is a way for older youth (male and female) who are involved in Scouting to earn money and enjoy the outdoors during the summer.
Exploring is a career and character educational program. As a component of Learning for Life, an affiliated co-educational school and after-school program, Exploring provides opportunities for male and female youth who are 14, and graduated the 8th grade, through 20 years of age.
