Letter from Council Advancement Chair
This letter provides important information on the steps to follow as you travel from Life to Eagle and council-specific procedures. It also includes the Council's Eagle Reference Letters Policy and a form you can use for the Statement of Ambitions and Life Purpose (Requirement #6).
Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook (2011 Printing)
A 2011 version of the Service Project Workbook was issued in early October, which is a complete revision. If the project was approved prior to January 1, 2012, the workbook used for approval may continue to be used, even if it is the older workbook. If the project has not been approved by January 1, 2012, the new edition must be used. The 2011 edition provides more detailed guidance to aid you in planning and implementing your project.
Both the project workbook and application are updated regularly. If you've started the approval process with an older edition, you may continue to use that edition (except as noted above regarding editions before 2011). When you have completed all requirements, check for the latest application.
There are a number of resources that you may find useful as you work towards your Eagle rank and afterwards.
