The Order Of The Arrow National Conference is held every three years at a major University. It features morning training sessions in extensive subject fields including computers, web site design, leadership, regalia, Indian dance, ceremonies, lodge interactions, lodge activities and more. Afternoons are reserved for competitions in ceremonies, Indian dance, sports (volleyball, basketball, swimming, track and field, lip sync, and many others), as well as free time, fellowship and interacting with Arrowmen from all over the world. Evenings feature outstanding arena shows.
Over 10000 Arrowmen from around the country are anticipated to attend in 2015. Meals are served in University cafeterias and sleeping accommodations are in dorm rooms. Founders Day is a carnival-like atmosphere with each Lodge having a booth with giveaways, food, Fellowship, training and fun are the principles of NOAC.
We leave for NOAC on Sunday, Aug 2 and drive to Ohio, spend the night aand on Monday make our way to Michigan State. The conference ends on Saturday, Aug 8, we will drive to Sandusky, OH to Cedar Point Park, spend the day and night at the park, the Sunday, Aug 9 drive home to PA.
The cost for 2015 is $700 for youth and $900 for adults, which includes travel, hotel, conference fees, conference patches, park fees, most meals and tee shirts. Youth subsidies can be were provided in help offset the costs. If you start now, May 2014, that’s only $100 per month, final payment due May, 29 2015.
