About Day Camp

Day Camp is one of the best opportunities provided to young Cub Scouts and provides a full week of program and activities not otherwise accessible to this age group. Different camps throughout the summer provide variations in activities based on the resources available, so no one week is alike!

You can register as a Pack, a Den, or an individual Scout for one or more weeks. Special discounts are availble for multiple week registrations.

Day Camp is a five day, fun-filled experience that offers opportunities for all levels of Cub Scouting, from Tigers to Webelos, to participate in activities that are designed to build mental fitness, physical skills and character...and it is A LOT OF FUN!

While we will always have regular camp activities such as nature, science, woodcraft, leather craft, shooting sports and fishing (where available)...we also get to include fun themed crafts and activities from the belt loop & pin requirements too.

Day Camp dates run from June through August and are located all over council convenient to your home.  Time is roughly 9:00am - 3:00pm but varies slightly by location.  Sign up for one, two, or more and keep your Scout having fun, meeting other Scouts and even earning rank during the summer!

Cub Scout registration includes all crafts, activities, a camp shirt and a patch.  Bring your own lunch.

Have an older sibling or Scout?  They can help as a Den Chief. (See requirements)

Adults who volunteer all week can bring their Cub Scout to camp for a discount! Your Cub Scout's siblings can also attend if you volunteer: Siblings aged 3 - 6 (entering 1st grade in September) are in Kid Korner/Tot Lot, those in grades 1 - 5 get the full program. SIBLINGS CAN ONLY ATTEND DAY CAMP IF A PARENT IS VOLUNTEERING.

See the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page for training and answers to many common questions.
