Throughout your District, you can find a wide variety of Events to keep your and your Scout busy and interacting with other Scouts outside his home Pack, Troop, or Crew.
These events are typically orchestrated and managed by the District’s adult volunteers with oversight from the Council office. You can view the District Calendar or check out the articles about past and upcoming events in these pages.
A Leave No Trace Trainer course will be held at MacLean Training Center, Musser Scout Reservation in Green Lane, PA, beginning at 8:00 am on Saturday, May 18,2013 and ending by noon on Sunday, May 19, 2013. There is a mandatory pre-course meeting on Tuesday, May 7 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Roger S. Firestone Center in Wayne, PA.
The course involves tent camping at the MacLean Training Center and day hiking at the Musser Scout Reservation. Male and female Scouting youth age 14 or older and Scouting adults are eligible to attend. Course cost is $35.00. This course qualifies youth for the Leave No Trace position of responsibility in the troop, team or crew.
